SyntropicWorks

Bring us the napkin sketch. We'll hand back the part.

Syntropic Works is an independent engineering company. We design and build custom hardware, and we advise on clean energy projects.

Design and build

A sketch, a part number, a broken bracket you want to make better. Start with whatever you have.

Engineering

Calculations, material choices, and a straight answer on whether the idea will work and what it is likely to take to make.

Design

3D models and dimensioned drawings that a shop can quote and build from. You keep the files.

Fabrication

Machined, welded and sheet metal parts, fixtures and prototypes, built to the drawing and checked before they ship. Short runs are fine.

Clean energy consulting

A separate service from the shop. This is advice on energy projects, not a product we sell.

Feasibility and sizing

Before you commit

We look at the load, the site and the equipment options so you know what a project needs before you pay for design or buy anything.

Second opinions

Designs, specs and bids

An independent read of what you were quoted, and whether it matches what you actually need.

Technical due diligence

Vendors, equipment and plans

Checks for owners and investors who need to know what they are really getting.

Agreements

The technical side of contracts

Help understanding and negotiating the technical terms in supply and service agreements. We are not a law firm, and this is not legal advice.

Typical projects: solar and battery storage, heat pumps, building electrification and EV charging.

Most projects start as loose requirements and open questions. Our job is to turn them into something that fits, works and can be built again.

syntropy (n.): the tendency of a system toward order; the opposite of entropy.

Send us the napkin.

Tell us what you are trying to build, or what energy project you are weighing. A sketch, a photo or a few sentences is enough to start.
